I know I’m not one to do throwback Thursday that often (heck my one attempt here was a bit terrifying), but I thought maybe we should take a different spin on it.

Why not instead of focusing on the past, we glance at it only to celebrate the future? I bring you— TRANSFORMATION THURSDAY!

I see a lot of transformation stories on the Internet, especially the Team Beachbody Blog, but this one really stuck with me.

Meet Kelly and ooh and ahhh over her incredible two-year transformation! Her  story started in a way that is similar to how a lot of people get their “I’m ready to change” attitude.

Basically, she had taken a picture of herself for fun at a baseball game where she said she did the usual “suck in” pose, but when her sister posted it on Facebook, she was horrified to see what she really looked like. She almost deleted it before she realized that instead, she should use it to motivate her. She ended up using various Beachbody programs to accomplish her goals, including one of my favorites– TURBO FIRE! (If anyone is interested in any of those, let me know because I can help hook you up!).

What’s even more inspiring about her story is how she was having fertility issues and didn’t realize her weight was part of the problem. She had lost weight two different times, and both resulted in a (welcomed) surprise pregnancy.

People like Kelly motivate me to never delete “bad” pictures, but use it as a catalyst for change I can start myself. You can read her whole story here.
