We discovered our favorite juice (so far, at least).
I swear to you, “Green Lemonade” from the Joe Cross’s Reboot program tastes just like Gatorade. Who knew all that green stuff would equal refreshing glasses of power. Seriously, I was bouncing off the walls.
Here’s a picture of the ingredients:
Yup, tons of kale, green apples, a lemon, celery, and cucumber. Ignore the Nutella. That was wishful thinking on my part. I threw it in there to mess with people’s heads.
Anywho, you pop those puppies into the juicer and BAM! The lemon and green apple taste reigns supreme and mixes beautifully with the rest of the greens. We’ve made this so many times already. We just can’t get enough of it!
When my brother and his fiancé visited a couple of weeks ago, we decided to let them try some. My brother was complaining about being sleepy (I’m a terrible person who doesn’t own a coffee pot), and after a mini jolt from an energy drink, he was still lagging while we were playing board games. So we juiced, I gave him a small glass and he LOVED it. Sure, it’s different at first, but you quickly LOVE it. He seriously kept asking for more and nearly drank like maybe half our pitcher.
If you’re considering juicing and not sure what to make first– I recommend this. It’ll change your life!
GREEN LEMONADE
(Yields 2 Servings)
2 Green Apples
1 Lemon
1 Cucumber
12-18 Kale leaves (or cups of Kale)
8 celery stalks
1) Juice and serve over ice! Enjoy!
I admit it. You got roped me in with the Nutella. I am now so ashamed of myself 🙂
Haha! Sorry! I figured if I put Nutella near healthy things, then I could trick myself into thinking that it’s as awesome as Nutella. Luckily, this green juice is super awesome even without the awesomeness that is Nutella.
And I just used the word “awesome” waaay too many times lol.
Very nice.
I see spinach as well.
I see spinach in the bowl with the celery.
